Ray is an abstract artist with 30+ years of experience. Born on August 4, 1972 in Palestine, TX, Dunlap grew up in East Texas and has also lived in Guam and Japan for 18 years. Ray has taught for the Golden artist’s program. He works with acrylic, clay, and wood to create art inspired by folklore culture based on his own interpretations. Ray has shown in museums and galleries in the USA, Japan, Korea. He has received awards in Holbiens exhibition, Japan art association honorable mention, first place in Charcoal East Texas.

Ray’s style invokes reaction to inspiration and controlled chaos. He likes to take the viewer on an uplifting journey adventure. He shares his stories through his artwork.
